I'm once again in production mode, as there is yet another fair on December 9th and 10th where I will be selling SECH Designs. Here are the details:

• Friday 12 noon - 9 pm, Saturday 10 am - 5 pm A Craft Fair with over 30 local artists and craftspeople. There will be yummy treats in the tea room. Admission is $ 2 at the door, free for under 12's.

So, if you're in St. John's NL, come on down to the Anna Templeton Centre, and finish off your holiday shopping (or get started) at the annual tea and sale!

The craft council craft fair was a huge success for SECH Designs, I thought I'd share some pictures of happy customers. A heartfelt thank you to all the organizers of the event, and to all the supporters!

After a beautiful fall weekend full of love, good films, great food, long hikes and strolls with old friends, SECH Design is refreshed and back to full on production mode in preparation for the craft fair.

Last night, I had a very casual photoshoot with some new fall designs. So, that means this morning I will be delivering some new SECH Designs to Model Citizens! Mostly cozy sweaters, sweater dresses, and skirts perfect for warm leggings and boots - very necessary for the damp island weather the fall often brings. Here are a few of my favourites. In the back of everyone's mind is the fact that the holiday season is creeping up on us. Great news - SECH Design will indeed be at the Craft Council Christmas Craft fair. Shop SECH on Novemeber 9th and 10th, at the arts and culture centre.

Hang Tag Design

With new designs heading into stores soon, and a new website in the works, I felt like it was time for some new hang tags as well. As I was working with photoshop while sipping my morning coffee, I considered how important it is for new customers to know a litte about SECH. So here's what I ended up with. I like the look, and just sent a box of SECH goodies to Love, Me Boutique in Halifax, with the new tags happily hanging.

With the back of the tag offering care instructions, it saves me time by not having to sew that tag into the garments - most people end up cutting that off anyway!

Good Morning Sunshine!

The sun is shining on this beautiful Island, and I'm getting ready to head into the studio for a day of cutting and sewing. After a little snooze due to other exciting work opportunities, SECH is awake again and production is in full swing!

I'm sewing up new designs for the fabulous Model Citizens here in St. John's, Love, Me Boutique in Halifax, and of course custom orders for all my beautiful clients.
